  1. You should be fine as long as you get parental consent. My daughter ran with me in the Boston Marathon since she was 15, and I just had to sign some papers, it didnt matter if I ran with her or not.

  2. different races are different some require you to be 18

  3. the way it goes... For all marathons in Australia you must be 18. You can do a Half Marathon at 15 years of age. And for fun runs you can run a marathon at any age you want.

  4. Most marathons I'm aware of have an age limit of 18, with parent / guardian waiver required if younger. Some do have younger age limits of 16 or 17.

I don't see an age limit specified on the Twin Cities Marathon website.

I would contact the race at info@mtcmarathon.org to see if a waiver is required. If you want to run this year, however, you would have to have registered already, as registration is now closed. If you did register with an accurate birthdate and they didn't throw a fit already, there shouldn't be more than a waiver required, if that.

  5. yes you might need a parental consent tho
