just depends what kind it is if its a bb gun then u have to b 16 to buy it but i had my first one when i was 7 but if its a real gun then wait till u take a hunting class cause u don't want to shoot your foot

any age , but u got to know what your doing so you wont kill anyone, i shot a 9mm pistol when i was 10, and i shot a 38 special revolver when i was 11, now i shoot guns just about every day.

You have to be 21 to BUY a handgun, in Kansas anyways, but I don't think there is any age restrictions on shooting one.

You CAN shoot a pistol at any age.  (As long as you can understand safety directions and have the hand strength to squeeze the trigger.)

My kids started shooting competitively in the third grade.

Legally you have to have an adult with you until the age of 18 or 21, depending on what state you live in.
