  1. You have to be eighteen to be able to sign a contract, and if you are just 18 there is a pretty strong possibility that they will require a security deposit because you have not yet established credit in your name. If you are in that situation or under 18, you can always sign up for our prepaid plans. We have two types.

Pay as you go: this is where you buy cards and use them until the minutes are gone, then buy another card

Pick your plan: this is service just like the regular plans that you have to sign a contract for, but without a contract. You can quit whenever you want. The catch to this is, you have to have automatic bill payment from a checking acct or credit card. I really think it's a good option, I have several customers who start out with something like that until they are able to sign a contract.

    Hope I helped!

  2. On your own, 18, under that you'll either have to have a parent co-sign or be part of their plan.

Even at 18, you might need to have someone co-sign if you don't have any credit history.

  3. 18 & up for all carriers. No age requirement for prepaid phones.

  4. For the providers you mention you have to be 18.  However, you can get sign up for prepaid. There is no age requirement for signing up for prepaid. Actually if you are 18 or just turned 18 you most likely will have to pay a deposit. A deposit depends on your credit. You want really good credit to avoid paying a deposit. Prepaid plans don't require deposits at all.
