How old do you have to be to take a scuba course? my son is seven and he really wants to start.?

You have to be 12 to get certified, but there are some pools that offer introduction courses for kids ages 8-11 so they can get some experience scuba diving.

if ur son is really interested in diving there are courses that ur son can take up. he will not be certified until he is of the age of 12. you can approach any dive school to consult them if they are willing to take him in.

Sorry, he has to be 8 to even think about participating. And he can't actually get certified until he is 10.

otherwise there are 3 programs that he can participate in in a year.
