  1. you got a license your good to go.

I hope your actually interested in buying them and not just driving them around to see what they are like. They may not let you just drive them around for the heck of it.

  2. With a license, you should be able to test drive new cars. However, being only 17, dealer salespeople know they don't have a chance of selling you the car on that day, and won't want to waste their time with you. If you come with your parents (or someone pretending to be your parents), you could get a shot at it.

  3. You have to be 18 unless it's a private seller, Then, it's up to that individual to decide whether to let you drive their vehicle or not.

  4. It all depends on what the legal age for entering into a contract is in your state or what ever state it may be.  The legal age for entering a contract is 18 years of age in a majority of the states. It will also be up to the individual car dealership, depending what their insurance says.

  5. usually dealers wont let anyone under 18 to test drive cars. The age to rent a car is 21 so a few dealerships require you to be 21. occasionally dealerships will make allowances and allow 17yr olds to test drive. but only if they think that they have a decent chance at a sale if the 17 yr old test drives the car.
