How old do you have to be to volunteer at SPCA?

I live net to an SPCA and i wanted to help out and volunteer does anybody know how old you have to be to apply?

if they need help the probably wont care how old you are... but if they do... at least 16

I volunteer at a local animal shelter in my area called Animal Angels. I think for SPCA you have to be 18 or older.

I would imagine you don't have to be a certain age, with your parent's  permission, other than over the age of 14.  but even under they might let you go into the area and walk a dog or pet a cat now and then.  :-)

Go in and ask.  But I used to volunteer at the Red Cross at 15.
