I'm currently a junior in high school and I need a good job so that I can pay for college and begin saving money to support myself after college(I'm going into a pretty hit-or-miss career, and want to be sure that I can take care of myself until my income is steady and substantial). I've read that hotel receptionists get pretty decent wages, and was just wondering if you needed a high school degree?

  1. it probably depends on the hotel and the state you live in but I would guess 16 and I don't think it requires a degree.

  2. As a former Front Desk Agent, and reservationist .. you don't get excellent pay unless you work at a pretty hight class hotel like The Westin, Hilton, etc. You can't just walk into one of those jobs with a bubbly attitude and get the job, they want hardcore experience.
