How old do you have to be to work at Hooters?

I just turned 18 a few days and would like to work at hooters, I think it would be a fun and good environment... I also heard the tips were good! Where I live the drinking age is 19... does that matter? Being 18 would I be able to serve alcohol?

Why don't you aim a little higher? If you are hoping to make money while attending college...great...but if your main goal is to be a "Hooters girl" that just makes me so sad.

Contact your local Hooters for age info.  I'm sure besides that there are probably other requirements....large cup sizes and low IQ's and low self esteem helps.

Laws are different in different places.  Here in PA, you have to be 21 to drink, but can serve at 18.  Some businesses require you to be 21 though.  If you want to work at Hooters, than that is where you need to ask this question.

You should know waitressing is not easy money > I've been a waiter & it's hard work that requires diplomacy, menu knowledge, dealing with difficult & sometimes unreasonable patrons.  

You'll be on your feet serving drinks to often times drunks.  Drunks can be pleasant one moment, & then have a Dr Jeckyl/ Mr Hyde personality change the next.  You should expect to be sexually propositioned either subtlety or directly.  At no time can you be rude to a patron.

  Your uniform is designed to excite juiced up men who are thinking they might get lucky > not all, but you will have to fend off the more lecherous ones.  

18 is the legal age in my state also.  But I believe in Vegas, you have to be 21 > so it does vary by state.
