  1. Usually 16 or 17. I am 17 and I work in the pro-shop and kinda do whatever... but you have to be 18 to serve alcohol.

It kinda depends on the course too. But it is usually around 16 and then 18 to serve alcohol.

    Good Luck :)

  2. all depends on the course really i no courses ive seen its usually like 16 or 17

  3. I started working as a cart kid at 16. Maintenance is usually 16 or 18.  Alcohol is always 18.  The nicer courses are higher, you will see many middle aged guys doing carts there.  Starters are generally middle aged.  I would suggest you contact your local courses.  If you want to see them all, several cites have course locators from a zip code, even weather.com does.

  4. My son started at the local course when he was 12. He picked the range and other little odds and ends. He later became a club pro after playing golf in college

  5. 18 in the Houston area

  6. You have to be at least 16 to work at a golf course. I checked with the local golf course!

  7. I was a cart girl and we had to be over 18 to be able to serve alcohol...but I know a lot of the greeter staff was still in highschool...so???
