  1. Whatever the legal drinking age is in your town/city.

    If it's 18, then you have to be 18.

    If it's 21, then 21.


  2. liquor stores are basically the age limit... you can't even legally enter most liquor stores if you are under age, let alone work there, which is different than bars, where you can serve alcohol if you are underage.

    I would say in the US its going to be 21.  The exception is if you are a son/daughter of the store owner, at least when I was a child (ND) a friend worked at his father's liquor store when he was like 16, and that was legit and on the books, at least according to the friend and his father.

  3. Ummm...I don't know of any place IN AMERICA where you can drink at age 18...it is 21 everywhere.  You must be 21 to work in a liquor store or be a bartender.  To be a waiter/waitress that serves alcohol you must be 18.
