16 but they prefer you to be 18 and out of school in my area. my best friend is a manager there

I am sure you have to be 16 but they probably prefer you to be a little older.

I worked in retail for 12 years and you have to be at least 16.  I was a manager for many different stores (new york and company, ALDO, American Eagle Outfitters, Toys R Us) and some places won't hire unless you are 18.
