How old do you have to be to work at mcdonalds california?

am 14 right now and am turning 15 on december. i want to work at macdonalds so i can save up for a car when i get my license at 16. do u know how old i have to be to work at macdonalds or anywhere else.

  1. Well, I don't know about in California, but in Ontario I just got hired at 14 :) They don't ask your age (at least they didn't ask me) but, again, in Ontario, you can't do anything other than 'Lobby' (cleaning up after people... oh well still pays!)


  2. 16 to work around fast food. i think. it might be 15. but if you want to save up for a car, i'd work somewhere with a higher wage, and good tips. like watson's home and garden center. around christmas time, you get good tips because you help people carry christmas trees to their cars.
