How old do you need to be to buy a lighter, in the uk?

i'm 15, but look 14, will i be able to buy one?

Any age for novalty lighters which shop keepers don't regard as dangerious and/or the shop keeper is 'fik' but in sensible shops i think it's 16!

I think it is 16, BUT if the age to buy cigarettes has gone up to 18 the age for buying lighters/matches may have gone up as well, hope that helps

I think you need to be 21. You also have to take your boatsman licence otherwise they won't let you use it on the Thames.
