  1. it used to be over 8 and with a booster seat, but i think that it is over 12 now...go onto the highway code website and that will tell you for sure

  2. 12 years of age.......

All children under 12 years of age should be placed in the back seat of the car, especially if you have passenger side air bags.

  3. There isn't a law about that where I am from but they strongly suggest children under 12 do not sit in the front seat. This is for safety reasons in case of a crash. They give the age of twelve because that is the age where a child usually reaches an appropriate size to sit in that seat. However some people are appropriate size by age 10, and some aren't an appropriate size until age 14 or so. They just give a certain age because everyone's body is different, it would probably be more effiecient to set a height and weight requirement.

  4. 14 i think

  5. it say on the sticker on the sun visor. i think it is 12 years.

  6. i think you have to be 12 and over 48 inches =]

  7. U.K. law does not stipulate any minimum age for riding in the front seat, although there are now quite comlex rules about booster seats depending upon age and height.

Some European countries (e.g. France) DO have a blanket minimum age for riding up front, however, often around 10 to 12.

  8. The age is 12 years old to sit in the front seat. Also the height needs to be 4'10 and up.It's also recommended that you disable the air bag.

  9. there is alot of new legislation regarding children in cars. try this website www.childcarseats.org.uk

  10. I dont think there is any law at what age it is legal, you cant put rear facing baby seats in the front.  But as long as your child is restrained properly and if needs be using a booster/seat then they should be fine

  11. There is no age minimum limit as long as the child is strapped in safely ie booster seat so the strap is not going to choke the child with seat belt.
