How old do you need to get contacts?

im 12 and i just found out i need glasses i REALLY dont want them. is 12 too young to get contacts?

most likely not..

but u have to be responsible enough to take care of the contacts and clean them..

cause u could get an eye infection!

I believe what is important is whether your parents are going to allow you to wear contacts.  Being responsible enough to clean and sanitize the contacts is the deciding factor.

It's not your age but rather if you're prepared or not. I'm 16 and I just started on them.

12 isn't too young. I knew many people from primary who had them way before I did.

As long as you're determined to stay clean and be patient, you should be fine.
