Seriously, get over it.. It's been happening for YEARS.

It's just because it's this year an American has been cheated that you are all making an international media scandal out of it.

OK it happened in Athens, it happened Sydney 2000.. a lot of other countries do it as well.

Obviously younger more fearless, flexible, smaller gymnasts with a lower point of gravity do better. It's one of the only sports that you peak before or at puberty.

So lets all take a deep breath, realise Romania, Japan, Korea and probably most other countries have cheated in age and do something to stop it happening again, rather than obsessing over a lost medal.

Well, one of the girls I saw had Chicklet-sized front teeth, which would make her about eight or 10 years old...and I must say, with all that make-up on, they looked like the kind of thing pedophiles fantasize about! (Sadly so)

Underage, but there's no way to prove Otherwise. The PRC is a communist, totalitarian state. If anyone at the top of government wants something a certain way, everyone below them is bound to give way and do as they're told. Here in the US, our freedom makes such nonsense very difficult. Can you imagine the President, Congress and the Senate getting involved in the USOC..? Then what state, let alone county and hospital are going to takes orders from the Feds to alter documents..?

They are under age, and it is a shame that the Chinese have so blatantly lied to all the world in this matter.

Let's all remember during the next Olympics that their 16 year old Olympians were 16 years old a short 4 years ago.

Does it really matter? Why should a ten year old or twelve year old be restricted from competing in the olympics? I dint think age should matter, ability should matter. Grant it the Chinese are breaking the rules, but i think the IOC should get rid of the age limit.

It does not matter how old you, me or anyone else thinks they are. The IOC were provided with passports and birth certificates and the mattter was investigated twice so legally, whether you like it or not, they are 16.

The only people who have provided proof of an evidential standard are the Chinese and until their accusers can provide PROOF of their allegations, to an EVIDENTIAL STANDARD this debate is over!

The question will pop up again and again for a simple reason that the USA knows that they cannot WIN.  Desperate enough to use all underhand methods to undermine the WINNER.  That reflects the sore loser mentality.  I am glad that USA lost badly - and is l*****g the wounds, but no sympathy points from me for being worse than cheaters.  Marion Jones cheated before using drugs, does it mean that all USA athletes cheated, too?  Then all the track and field medals have to go to China.

They look young as h**l, i know that much. I want know how old you have to be, to be in Olympics. I though it was 16. But I swore I heard an announcer say someone was 15.
