  1. I have no idea what a beardie is, but I am assuming it's some kind of animal or you have mis-spelt "birdie" maybe!??...Take her to the vet to confirm.

  2. "why answer if u dont know what your talking about!!!!!"

Exactly. It only makes them look stupid. Seriously, birdie? LMAO

Anyway, I wouldn't suggest having little ones until the mom is well over 16 months old. Like you said, if you breed them too young it could become fatal for her. If she is pregnant, make sure she has a place to lay her eggs and keep a REAL close eye on her. If she shows any sign of distress or being uncomfortable, take her to the vet asap. They'll be the only ones that can help her out since she is so young.

  3. At 7 month, it is quite possible for your bearded dragon to be gravid.

You are correct that it is dangerous for them to be gravid so young.

Stating that you know this does not make you "not that stupid". I mean... you must have either put the female to a male or bought from an unreliable source which contradicts that.

Why else would you suspect her of being gravid?

She is in for a rough time and i think you need to enlist the help of a very experienced vet and any local breeders you can find. You don't sound like your in a position to handle it by yourself.

  4. Beardies, like most reptiles don't need to be of any age to breed. It all depends on size. It is just a thing they do in which they need to be of a certain size so that they can safely carry eggs. I don't know the size though. x*x

  5. they reach maturity at almost 1 year old, but should NOT be bred before they are atleast 2 years old. I am very happy to hear that you know that already; I cant tell you how many people breed anyway. Is the female in the same tank as a male?

If not, you should be aware that female beardies do not need to mate to produce eggs. The eggs wont be fertile, but the beardie most likely wont lay them if she doesnt have access to a lay box. You can take a large plastic bucket and fill it with a mound of dirt 8-10 inches high. Make sure the soil is moist enough that if you stick your fist in it, it doesnt cave in and it retains its shape. After she lays the eggs (if you are sure they are infertile) put them in the freezer for about 1 day, then dispose of them. If the female doesnt have a box to lay her eggs in, this can result in egg binding, which can be fatal!

  6. They actually don't get pregnant, they lay eggs.   They can lay eggs even when there's no male around, but obviously they would never hatch.  I don't know what age it begins at as my beardy was a male, but I know that you have to be careful.  If she looks like she may be carrying eggs and doesn't expel them after some time she can become "egg-bound"  which is dangerous for her.  If this is the case you may have to take her to a vet.
