  1. 4-6 months old when they are ready for it.  You do it when they are ready to start eating with a spoon feeding so they need to not have the tongue thrust where they push the food out.

  2. my doctor said between 4 and 6 months

  3. 10

  4. with my first two they were around 4 weeks. At the time I didn't know that them pushing out with their tongue means they are not ready. I was just told they would get used to it and learn. This time I waited until my third was 5 months and gave her a couple of bites and she loved it. Took it right away with out pushing it out of her mouth. So I would suggest waiting until at least 5 months.

    That's just my experience. :)

  5. I give my baby cereal everyday, not just mondays

  6. I never gave my son cereal - they don't need it at all, really.

You should wait until 6 months to start giving them things besides breast milk or formula.  Regardless of when you try, watch your baby for signs that they are ready - for example, if he pushes the food right back out of his mouth, he's not ready.

  7. 4 months no sooner!

The breast milk or formula is plenty for him until he is 6 months.

But if you feel he needs more when he is 4 months then by all means give him the cereal

    I hope this helps

  8. 40 years.

  9. I started mine on rice cereal at 3 months, she didnt like it to much so i added a bit of fruit into it. Try the mix fruits, thats a popular one. Good luck

  10. For the first six months of life, the baby needs only breastmilk. I am not sure about formula, but I think it is the same.  I don't think you should be in any hurry for this. I remember reading recently that early introduction of cereal has been linked to diabetes.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby, all the best,

    Jamie

***Oh and also, when your baby can sit up reasonably well in a high chair, and his tounge thrust reflex has dissipated, then he is more ready to accept solid foods. This does typically happen around the sixth month of life.

    Hope this helps.

  11. doctors usually suggest 6 months

    id wait till 6 months.

  12. I start at 4 months, but you can start earlier if your baby isn't getting full from just milk. Make it thin and watery. If baby refuses than keep trying milk for a while and try again in a week or so. Be sure to start with just plain rice and work from there. Dont rush trying new foods and flavors right away.

  13. I started at 4 months. But he wasn't quite ready yet. So I waited until he was 5 months.

He kept crying and pushing the food out with his tongue the first time I tried. The second time when he was 5 months, he ate it and leaned forward for more.
