  1. Kittens should get their first "baby" shots when they are weaned from their mother at 6 or 8 weeks old.


  2. as soon as it eats solid food, bring it to the vet for a check up. vet will discuss the shots with you.

    usually, first shots can be given at that time. about 6 weeks.

  3. Kittens should have their first shots no earlier than 8 or 9 weeks because the antibodies from their mothers are still in their immune system.  Be sure that once you get your kitten its first round of shots you go back about 3 weeks later and get booster shots, or else the vaccines won't have much of an effect.

  4. Kittens can have their 1st vaccination from the age of 9 weeks, the 2nd one to follow on after 3 weeks........then thats it for 12 months.

  5. About 6 weeks old!:)
