  1. If Florida requires witnesses (Ohio doesn't)  & you want her to be the one to sign the license then she has to be 18.  If you want someone younger to be your MoH your officiant  can always get someone else to sign the license

  2. There is no age limit - being a maid of honor isn't a legal duty, it's just a tradition. You can have one or not, you can have more than one, and she (they) can be any age.

However, the people who sign your marriage license must be over 18. So if your maid of honor or best man aren't old enough, just find two other people to do it. Anyone can sign who was present at the wedding. It doesn't have to be a member of the bridal party.

  3. The person who signs as your witness has to be 18, probably, but your witness does not HAVE to be your maid of honor.

  4. there's really no set age for a maid of honor...

  5. No age requirements.

  6. there is no age requirements!

  7. There is no minimum age.

If you expect her to throw you a bridal shower or bachelorette party w/ booze and/or strippers, then she needs to be twenty-one.

  8. As previous posters said, the people that sign your marriage license (typically the MOH and BM) as witnesses have to be 18. But there's no rule that the MOH has to be the one to sign it, so do whatever you want!
