How old does the average building worker live to?

Question

I'm trying to get an idea of how long the average building / construction worker lives, I'm after figures for men and women that worked on building / construction sites for 25 plus years?

Brickys Chippy's Sparkys Plumbers Concretors Laborours Cranies Scaffolders Tyler's Riggers Form-workers ................

would like honest data of age and trade if poss

names wont hurt if you like im only asking as lots of the old blokes around how taught me when i started or i have worked with in the last 20 years never got to retire.

It looks to me that you are from the other side of "The Pond" by the sound of the words you use.  There's an interesting website that I found (below) which lists links to different trade union organizations that offer information and statistics, but these are for US demogaphics.  You might search for "British Trade Union demographics" and find something for you to use.  Of course, if you don't use the term "Trade Union" substitute whatever terminology you Brits use!
