How old is Cho Chang?

I could've sworn she was described as a year older than Harry in POA. But, I got the feeling later they were of equal age and the movies make me think she's a year younger!! I lost POA some years ago so I can't go check it. Help!!

it has been mentioned in the 3rd book too.....

and remember the 7th part?When harry reaches hogwarts neville sends a message around using his coin.....cho chang walks in through the portrait through which Harry comes meaning Cho was coming through somewhere other than Hogwarts..which means she was out of hogwarts at that time.....and hence........she is a year older than harry and a year younger than cedric!!

Well, in the books cho is definitely a year older than harry. In ootp hermione says something about cho being stressed cause of her owls but in 6th year, which she would be in when harrys in 5th, you dont do owls. I suppose that they must have just made her the same age for the films though i really dont know whyt hey would do that!!
