He first enters the series on December 4, 2003 at the age of 24. L later on dies on November 5th of the following year at age 25.

However if he had live throughout the entire series, he would have been around 30.

the manga series lasted from 2003 to 2006, but because of the time jump in the story, the story itself ended in 2010.
