  1. Of course every child is different, but I work in a childcare center and children usually start walking between 10 and 15 months; talking in simple sentences (less than 5 words) between 18 and 24 months.

  2. My daughter started walking at 9 months.

I think by a year old she probably knew 10 - 20 words.

  3. Every child is different, but my son started walking at 10-11 mos and started saying a few words at a year.  I heard that boys get things a little later than girls too.  Hope this helps!

  4. My fiance's little girl just turned 2 in March. She's just now starting to speak in sentences and she was about 9 months when she started walking.

  5. I could walk when I was like 10 months old

  6. It varies considerably.  I've had one who was up and down the stairs at 7 months, one who didn't walk until 18 months.

Talking?  Einstein didn't talk until he was 6, then started talking in complete sentences.  One of my was speaking well at 11 months.

Don't worry about it.  Each one is different.

  7. Girls  start walking sooner than boys,. My  daughter  walked at 10 monthes and my son at 1 yr. She "talked" around  12-15  monthes and my son at 15-18 monthes but not complete senteces.

  8. between 2 and 3

  9. most kids are walking by around 12 months (some earlier, some later) and then start to talk (simple, single words) from around 18 mths onwards.  They can understand more than they can say ofcourse and most will be talking in sentences from around 2 -21/2 onwards.

  10. 88 years for girls.and 95 years for boys

are you walking and talking, be patient.

  11. Whoever it was that said 2-3 is a freaking moron. A child usually begins walking between 9-15 months and starts speaking about the same time. By one they should be saying some simple words, and understanding you. By 18 months they should be putting simple words together. By 2 they won't stop talking lol.

  12. why dont you visit http://www.learning-graph.com/milestones... to get an idea on that.

  13. Walking is generally aroud 1 year old.  Talking is generally around 2 years old.  These are loose guidelines because every child will develope differently.
