How old is my engine ?

I have a fishing vessel with an air cooled sr3 cylinder lister engine, anyone know how old it is likely to be roughly, i think its quite old

  2. Its not how old it is but if its working right and if you can get spare parts.  My engine is 1966 but going strong and parts still available.  Remember on a boat your engine can be your only way to get home.

    For vintage stuff, there is a rally held in Gloucestershire in June. Maybe an expert there might be able to shed some light. Its a fantastic event and worth a visit even if you are not interested in engines.

    40-50 years (rough estimate).
