How old is my gerbil...?

Can you tell me a way to tell the age of my gerbil? I have no clue what his age is. My friend's cousin gave him to me.

well, if hes acting like an old person, hes probably around 2 years old

It would be easier if you show a picture of him to us but if hes small and activbe then hes pretty young but if he is big and fat and lazy then he might be pretty old.

There's no way we can help you without a pic. Is he really small and skinny? If so, he's probably less than a year old. If he's more "fat" and plump, he's probably older (atleast a year old).
