Well that depends on how old you are .....when your 13 then 20 was old but when your 20 - 30 was old .."get it" your only old when you feel old...and all your mates are dying ..

I agree with what was said above. Old depends on the age of the person giving you their opinion.

When your a child, old is 40 years already! But when you get to over 20, 40 seems young!

And 60 can seem young when your 40!

I once asked this to a group of children I was teaching, and they told me 60 is old. But then when I asked them about another teacher, they said she was not old....but she was over 60!

So I guess, everyone has a different view on what is "old"....and especially depending on their own age.

I'm in my late twenties, and I now think that 60 isn't so old...but 70 seems pretty old!

I would say over 70, I wouldn't mind being called old. I'm 37 and I still feel 18.

"Old" is a relative term.  To a 5 year old, their 30 year old mother is old.  To a 30 year old, their grandparent of 70 is old.    It's all a matter of perspective.  You're normally considered a senior citizen at the age of 60 or 65.  But in this day and age, that's certainly not "old."

Hello... I don't think you can (actually) put an age or amount of years... old is when you are not able to stand (by yourself) eat (by yourself), think (by yourself), you hurt, you are angry, you are done... just DONE!  You could be 99 and if you feel young, you are!

But, I would consider "old-old" (not younger-old like 60) to be late 70's  to early 80's and there on out.

I think the preception of old changes as you age when you are young you thing 30 is old but as you grow up this changes.

I am now in my early 30's and i dont think as a person being old just older.

Its all down to perspective my grand father in law is 81, but he still live a good fun life, he goes on holiday 2 to 3 times a year, goes out for a drink or 2 on a friday and saturday night and he doesn't act his age, but some people get to 40 or 50 and act as if their life is over.

It all depends on your age.  When I was 10 I thought 16 was old.  When I was 16 I thought 30 was old.  When I was 30 I thought 60 was old.  Now I am 50 and I think 80 is old.  Old is just a state of mind.
