  1. She was born in 1926 so get all your fingers and toes out and start counting.

  2. She's 82 at the moment.

Born - 21 April 1926. So she will be 83 on 21st April next year.

  3. She's about 82 I think =]

Did you know she has two birthdays??? =]

  4. My mother-in-law Lizbet is 82 and brilliant we often partake of the odd 1 or so gin/martinis, and lament on how Charles is off his rocker, but he's better out there than in here pestering the us.  Poor sod, for God's sake will some plumber take him on and tell him he is saving the planet by way of replacing all the sewers in London/thanks my dears.   x*x

  5. Her Majesty is 82 years old and still groing strong.

  6. She is 82 years old.

  7. Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary;[1] born 21 April 1926) is the queen regnant of 16 independent states and their overseas territories and dependencies. Though she holds each crown and title separately and equally, she is resident in and most directly involved with the United Kingdom, her oldest realm; part of her lineage traces through the royal houses of England, Wessex, and Scotland for over fifteen hundred years. She ascended the thrones of seven countries in February 1952, on the death of her father King George VI. (See Context below.)

  8. 82

  9. Her Majesty's teeth are little bit older than her tongue and that's how it should always remain as far as I'm concerned until the time of scribing her name in stone for the sake of history.

  10. she is 82

  11. She is 82 exactly 40 years older than me.  She was born 21st April 1926

  12. Queen Elizabeth is 82.3 years old. She has been married for over 60 years and has been Queen for 56.5 . In 3.5 years she will have her Diamond Jubilee (a few months before the Olympics).

    ---------------

She is the oldest monarch in British history. However, she became queen at age 25 and Victoria became queen at age 18. So Elizabeth will have to reign for 7 more years to become the longest serving monarch in British history.

    ----------------

Her son, Charles is now the oldest man who (presumably) will be alive to inherit the throne from a parent. Only one man inherited the throne was older (by five years), and he was the third brother to be king. This succession was caused by unfortunate death at age 21 of the princess who should have been queen.

    ----------------

If Elizabeth lives as long as her mother (another 19.3 years) then Charles will be 79 and Camilla will be 80 years old. Prince William and Kate Middleton will be age 45. Presumably, long before then, Prince Charles will have taken over many of the royal duties, although the queen will never abdicate.

  13. The Queen was born at 2.40am on 21 April 1926 at 17 Bruton Street in Mayfair, London. She is 82 years old.

You can read a mini-biography on the Queen at http://www.royal.gov/uk/output/Page5633....

  14. About 100.. lol.. Getting on now, bless her..

  15. She is 82, she was born in 1926. She has a good chance to live another 20 years or so. Her mother, also named Elizabeth died a few years ago and was over 100 years old. Her great-great (?) grandmother, Queen Victoria lived past 80 at a time when most people, including Royalty lived to be about 55 or 60. So despite all the inbreeding, or maybe because of it, the Royal family, at the least the women have long lives.

  16. She's 82 yrs old, D.o.B 21/04/1926

In the UK, the Queen's Official Birthday is celebrated on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Saturday in June, and is marked in London by the Trooping the Colour.

Also known as the Queen's Birthday Parade.

Edward VII (who reigned 1901–1910) moved the ceremony to that date in the hope of good weather.
