  1. Scientific measurements put it at around 4.6 billion.  There are no "biblical measurements" because the writers of the bible lacked facts or proper measuring tools for such a problem.  Therefore it's just a guess.

  2. The scientific estimates of the age of the earth center around 4.54 billion years.  Only the 'naive literal' or 'wooden literal' interpretation of the Bible would limit the age of earth to 7000-12000 years.  Recognizing the literary style of the early chapters of Genesis would not lead a reader who understands literature to draw these conclusions.

  3. Roughly 4.6 Billion years as opposed to a few thousand years according to the Bible.

  4. I'll give you a relative time line so you can get a better picture of it.

Suppose we set the age of the universe at one hundred miles. (13.7 billion years.)

The age of the earth and solar system would be 33 miles back.

The distance back to the extinction of the dinosaurs is 2500 feet.

The distance back to the first hominids about 175 feet.

The distance back to the first homo sapiens is about 4 and 1/2 feet.

The distance back to biblical creation is about 2 and 3/4 inches.

So for the age of the earth it's under three inches compared to 33 miles.  Just a slight disagreement there.
