Okay let me elaborate on the title. what is the oldest age a women can have kids with no risk of birth deffects mental, physical just what ever. What are the risks after a women gets to the age where there will start being risk to the baby? what is the percentige and what are the risks. first answer to answer the question with a legit source gets 10 pts.

  1. i don't know the answer to all of your questions but my husband mom was 42 when she had him and his sister they are twins they were born normal no issues at all

There is always some risk of birth defects regardless of the mother's age.  Statistically, the risk does increase after age 35.  If there is a genetic problem then how old the mother is will not have any bearing on the risk.  There are some genetic problems that require both the mother and the father to be a carrier in order to give birth to a baby with the problem.  Just because the risks increase after 35 does not mean that every baby born to a woman over 35 will have problems.  My youngest was born when I was 38.  She has had no problems, is happy and healthy.  Good friends of ours have a son who is the same age as our daughter.  He is their first child and she was 40, he was 41 when he was born quite healthy.  Below are some links that may give you the statistics you are looking for.
