  1. if there not gone by 24 there is something surely wrong but if ur staying at home attend a near by college thats different

  2. 21

  3. 20

  4. 19

  5. That really depends on the relationship.

I was ready to move out at 18, but I would say that 21-23 is a good age.  Maybe longer if the kid is graduate, medical, law school etc.

I have an uncle who is 55 and still lives with his mom.  THAT IS TOO OLD.

  6. well my brother in law moved out of his parents house last year when he turned 38 yrs old, they brought him a house and are still paying his bills boy he has got the life

  7. it depends on the child and what he is doing with him or herself and their attitude about life. i raised my brother and he was with me till 23 and he was working but everything was a joke and he wasnt saving or taking classes anymore but staying out late and not offering to contribute  and shopping like a mad man so i put him out and told him to stand on his own 2 feet. 2 yrs ago and now we get along fine he has his own place working and taking life a little more serious.

if the child is going to school, working, saving, contributing and preparing to be on his or her own and taking life serious then i would say as long as you can help them out but in this day and age with the economy that should be done by 24!

  8. When you are finished college and are able to live on you own. For myself, I allowed each of my 3 oldest children to live with me for one year after finishing college, with the provision they save, save, save.....They all saved a good amount of money.....my oldest managed to save nearly $30,000 working two jobs! They all had good starts and are all productive, responsible adults who take very good care of their responsibilities.

  9. Move out at least by 23 or 24, given that you have gone to college for 4 years and get a job right after and save up enough money to move out.  If you get a job right after high school, at age 18, then 21 the latest.

  10. well it depends. my boyfriend is 28 and he lives home with me and our two kids. but we are only doing it because i had lost my job when i got pregnant and he couldnt afford our apartment by himself. but now we are saving money to get a house so it depends on you.

  11. It depends. I was on my own at 19 but it was hard and it was only because my mom moved to another state and I didn't want to move so I got my own place with a roomate. Otherwise i would have probably stayed at home longer. I think if someone is going to college or working and building up the finances to get out on their own then I can understand that. If someone is out of school, not working and just living at home for no reason but to live off the parents then it's time to grow up. Also I know many people who didn't graduate until age 18 so I think to state 19 is too old is ridiculous. Kids need time to work and save money to move out and many are going to college and working. I would never just expect my kid to be out by age 19 or any specified age...it's more about circumstances and different situations.

  12. well, I am 21 and I still live with my parents. BUT...that is only because I am in college. I am saving them and me money but not living in a dorm. My college is only 30 minutes away. Also, my husband is in the military, and we have a house in Florida, so I only live with my parents while I'm taking classes in the spring and fall. All other times, I am in Florida with my husband. I will be graduating in December, and moving out of their house to a new house with my husband elsewhere. I will still be 21. I think it all depends on the situation. If you are not in school, I think you should be out of your parents house with your own job and apartment.

  13. In this day and age I would let them stay until 18 rent free then after that it is either college or they get a job and start paying something for rent and if they go to college then when they graduate and are still living at home then start the rent thing.  Maybe like 10%of their paychecks to start then raise 5% every year until they are paying the going rate for their own apartment.  I would also put half of what they payed me into a savings account for when they get married as a wedding gift or if they buy a house as a house warming present. Hope this helps.

  14. Basically whenever you're ready to move out after 18. But don't push it past 23.

  15. In Western country, usually it's 19. But in a lot of countries in Asia, children live with their parents until they get married.Even sometimes they live with their parents after they get married too. It is not easy to rent an apartment (money wise).

  16. I am a mom of 5... still not in the full teen years yet... I say if they are going to college  and working they can stay.. after college years .. which is mid 20's ... its time to get your own place. I lived on my own at 16.  Some times it take a little tough love and a kick in the rump but they will thank you later on in life. Good Luck

  17. 20 because by then u should b a alut with a apartment or something unless u are in colage then untill u  get out
