How old is too old to have a backpack with cartoon pictures on it for school?

My daughter is ten and wants a Tinkerbell backpack(it looks gothic more than childish).

I think girls can get away with that sort of thing a lot longer than boys can. I mean I know adult girls who have disney characters on shirts and stuff. I think it's different for boys. I have 4 boys and my youngest is 8 (third grade) and even though he still likes some of the character backbacks, he won't bring one to school because he knows he would get teased. It's just different for boys.

If it looks gothic then teenagers will buy them too. But if it looks childish you probably shouldn't get it just to be on the safe side if they are 10.

My daughter stopped in 4th grade.

I mean you are never too old-I mean if had the disney princesses on it-I wouls encourage her not too but I think she will be okay with this one.

well i'm 15, and most girls in my high school still have tinkerbell andminey mouse back packs... yourdaughterr is still in that age but next year in 6th grade let her mature... idon'tt know what to say about the gothic thing...=] hope i helped...

Tinkerbell is awesome. I applaud her choice. I think that by 4th or 5th grade the characters should become more adult (not Dora or Bob the Builder) if any.

its more 4 people 3rd grade or lower and 8th grade and higher btw tink is a awesome thing its not childish i say let her have what she wants

Surely if it's something she wants then she's not too old for it? Even if it did look childish, if she's happy to have it then that must be the most important thing.
