as long as ur biological clock is running i say go for it my mom had my sister at 40 and shes five now and everything went perfectly fine she just had a small fluid problem which got corrected.

Between 40 and 45 ... after 37 (I think) it becomes unsafe for mom and baby!!

The medical risks start in the 30's, but there's always medical risks. I had my first at 20(with complications during birth), second at 23(complications throughout) and my third at 31(complications throughout). It was a lot easier in my 20's. I really don't know how people do it in their late 30's or 40's.  But in the end it is a personal decision.

It's really a personal choice.  I know a lot of women that had their first in their late 30's early 40's and were perfectly happy.  I am 38 and my youngest is 7.  I could not even imagine having a baby now...
