for someone who doesn't swim regularly, I've heard some people be discouraged to start if you're 22, 23 .. but then you see some older professional swimmers who are doing pretty well...did all the successful swimmers start swimming and training since a young age??

  1. In my opinion, it might be a little too late to start. It might not be if you have previous experience. But then again, if you have the determination to do it than you can. But, it'll be A LOT of hard work, because you'll need peek fitness and a lot of practice on the strokes an flip turns. It;ll be hours upon hours of practice and training. So, if you want to start, wave bye-bye to your social life.

  2. um i would say about 22 23 24 around there after that idk but ur body will be inshape. and i think that most the perfesinal swimmers started young

  3. 22 & 23  years old in my opinion is too old to start competitive swimming, and the reason why you see professional swimmers that old is because they've been swimming since they were little kids. All successful swimmers start swimming and training at a young age- as young as five or six and as old as i would say ten or eleven.
