How old is too old to wear......?

i am 19 yrs old and i just reaalised over the past two years i have spent alot on graphic tees,vintage band shirts. i have like 100 band and graphic tees.for how long can i be expected to use all these tees n stuff?can i wear them in my twenties? and should i buy some bright coloured skinny jeans or am i too old to wear them? are they only 4 high school kids?

Well if you think about it, all the models for stores like Forever 21 and other stores that sell clothes like that, are adults. And they look great in those clothes!

Go ahead and wear them, but don't wear them in your late 20's, you may seem a bit childish. But early 20's will be fine since that is like college age. ^_^

Thru college.  Then wear your tees to bed or to clean your house.  Pack up your favorites so you can dig them out later for memories or for your own kids (who will LOVE them).

Why do you even care what others think. be you!!! i am an adult and i still where my old concert tees. there is no problem with that. Its saying that you are too out to wear blue jeans. Stop listening to others!!! Like i said earlier be yourself.

you can wear them up until about your mid twenties but you can tone them down with a neutral cardigan and some pumps or you could make the look a bit older by wearing heels!!

I think you will be fine.. I no people who wear graphic tees and funky skinny jeans in their 20s.. i think its cool!



I hope you wear them.. don't let the graphic tees go to waste!

I think it's fine for 19 as long as you don't plan on wearing them to interviews and such! lol...

I think around maybe 22-25 you should try to go slowly towards more mature and what not, but seriously theres no definate "rules" really just wear what you want with common sense, as in if you look 4 yrs younger than your friends you might want to rethink lol.

Well, I think you should be able to wear what you want quite honestly, and not worry about age. Life is short. We should do what makes us happy, makes us comfortable. Well maybe not so much brightly colored skinny jeans, I just never thought they looked good or anything. That's me. My opinion.

So it's what you are comfortable with. If you want to stay with what you have, go for it and don't let people judge just because your 19 (or later on 20, 21, 22...). But if YOU, yes YOU, thinks it's time, and your comfortable with the idea of switching up your wardrobe, then go ahead.

I do think though, there comes a time when people just do change, they're taste changes with their age sort of, so maybe this is what's happening...you know. I mean think about it. you don't very often see people 30-40 years old and up dressing like you (does happen but not the most common thing right?).

Well so all in all I would just say do what you want, what your comfortable with and what makes you happy, feel better. It's up to you, not peoples opinions on Yahoo! Answers.

i used to wear a lot of graphic tees as well but i stopped buying them about 2 years ago. i am 18 now and i stick to plain shirts and shirts with prints.

no your not to old. i mean vintage band tees you will never be to old for. the graphic tees i would stop wearing once your in your 40's! and the skinny jeans if you have the figure for them go for it they are so incredibly comfy and stylish. you dont have to grow up yet, u never really do actually! keep the tees and go for the jeans! x

I live just off of Michigan State University campus, and you just described the uniform of most girls 18-24. I think that your still ok to wear that. I haven't seen to many wearing the colored skinny jeans though.

No, I don't think they are for teenagers only. I'm a teen myself but I see a lot of adult in their 20's dressed like you. Its totally cool that you dress that way and age shouldn't define style. Maybe when you get older like in your 30's then it might not be that cool to wear pink skinny jeans and a rocking T-shirt. My friend was 18 and she was like the coolest girl I know in fashion, then all of a sudden when she was 21 she just wore plain T-shirts and her fashion style was so boring. I am just starting my T-shirt collection and i wish my collection was like yours. Well keep on looking cool and being older. :) Another great idea is to wear more mature clothing but to add a vintage teens twist.

I'd say the graphic tee until your around 22, 23 at the oldest. BUt the skinny jeans, maybe not. Both of these clothes are for high schoolers, but the tees are fine.
