How old is your baby and what size shoes does he/she wears?

I am a new mommy to be and I want to buy shoes for my baby. I am curious how the sizes run with the baby's age

its a waste of money until they are walking age, trust me! my son is 25 months old and wears a sz 10. I buy him shoes like every 3 months sice he grows so darn fast

I think it's a waste of money until they're walking really. Our son has gone through 5 pairs of shoes in a year because his feet are growing so fast. It was just a waste of money. Our son is 13 months and is wearing a size 5 or 6 depending on the shoe. Even at 6 months he wore a size 4.

My daughter turned 1 two days ago...she wears a size 3.

Lol- you don't need shoes until they start walking, around a year old, making them wear hard soled shoes can impede foot development and make them walk later than normal.  At that time it's best to take them to be fitted on while at the store. But you can buy little booties with soft bottoms if you wish, but they are little more than glorified socks. But my daughter is 20 months old now and is wearing a 6 or 7. She wore a 2 8 months ago. So it's not a good idea to spend a lot, they literally outgrow them in weeks :D
