  1. My daughter is 5 months old. Since she was 3 months she's put a hand on her bottle at feeding time even though she couldn't really hold it. She sometimes will hold it briefly now.

A baby can start teething at 2 months old. My daughter started drooling a lot then and started to stick her fingers in her mouth. The whole process can start then but teeth may not necessarily show up for a while yet. My daughter is drooling a lot more than normal in the past month & sticking her fingers in her mouth. I keep checking but no teeth yet. I am guessing in about a month there might be a tooth.

    Congrats on your babe :)

  2. My daughter started holding her own bottle at about 3 and a half months and as far as teeth that varies some babies are born with teeth so teething at 3 months is very possible. I would say most get first teeth between 5 and 7 months.

  3. my almost 8 month old wont hold her own bottle but my first held hers at about 4-5 months. It all depends on the baby

  4. My daughter is 6 1/2 months. She just started holding her own bottle, but she's still not entirely coordinated with it. She's been drooling a lot since she was around 2 months and chewing on things since around 4 months, but she still hasn't cut teeth. Her dad and I both didn't get teeth until we were around a year old, so she probably won't either. So just because she is drooling a lot doesn't mean she will get teeth anytime soon. If her gums are swollen though, she may cut teeth soon.

You really can't compare babies because every baby is different. Each one hits different milestones at different ages...your baby will hold her own bottle and cut teeth when she's good and ready. :)

  5. my son started teething...drooling and gnawing on toys and his hands at 4mths old. though the teeth didn't come completely out until 6mths old. he was about 4-5mths when he held his bottle by himself.. he started on bottles at 2mths tho.

  6. my son is 2 months and i think they star holding their own bottle at 5 to 6 months but I'm not sure and congrats on your baby

  7. shes 3 months as well. shes just getting into toys and is doing really well holding her head up....i give her a lot of tummy time though....olivia is drooling too...its bib time! doesnt necessarily mean that your baby is teething...their just starting to explore like putting their hands in their mouths...good luck!

  8. my daughter wouldn't hold her bottle. i gave her a sippy at 6 months and she grabbed it right away (the ones with two handles). those bottles got thrown away after that. i still hold her when she is drinking and she's 9 months. as far as the teething..some babies are born with teeth and some cut teeth as early as 3 months or late as 10 months. my daughter started drooling heavy at 2 months and didn't cut her first until 7 months. she got her two bottom teeth at the same time. hope i helped.
