How old or how much does a child have to weigh in order to be able to sit front seat passenger side of a car?

most states it 50/ 60 lbs and five yrs old.. you could just call the cops or the dmv

dont know reg but most car co's say u should be 5 foot tall... my wife is 4'11 and 99/100 foot tall...lol she claims 5 foot
