  1. i'd say 6 haha

  2. I see no reason for ANY kind of candy before age 5. The only reason I say age 5 is because once your child starts school, they will be exposed to candy.

  3. I only recently let my 7 year old eat hard candy without me breaking it up.  I choked on a butterscotch when I was 5 and it was terrifying.  So I'm paranoid!

  4. 6 because they don't know that if they swallow it they could choke.. that happened to me and my mom wouldn't give me hard candy until I was 6

  5. they have to have teeth, but also know not to swallow it right away, lots of people my age still choke on jolly rancher. probably 7 years old. before 7, you can give the child smaller jolly rancher candies. like the rox, they are teeny peices so you can give it to them and they wont choke.

  6. My mom didn't let me eat them until I was about 6 [first grade].

  7. 6-7

  8. I would wait until at least 5 or 6.  I can't tell you how many times I almost choked on butterscotch disks when I was around 5 or 6.  Be careful with hard candy.

  9. At least 5 or 6...before then there isn't a need for the extra sugar and they could choke!

  10. 8

  11. about five

  12. I would say 4 or 5

  13. 5 totally
