  1. 1 to 2 yrs so your dentist can start to see how your child's teeth are developing

  2. Three years ago, if not more. Dentists like to see kids from the moment they have teeth, so they get used to the idea that going is normal. In the UK little kids are normally "seen" for about twenty seconds on the end of their parents' appointment.

  3. I took my son at 4 months, only because he was born with two teeth.

I would say take him as soon as he has a mouthful of teeth, which would probably be now. You need to make sure his gums and teeth are healthy, and sometimes that can't be seen with the untrained eye.

  4. Now. 2/3 is the ideal age, but you are not far behind at all. I don't know when/if he is going to school soon, but I would say going to the dentist before preschool is the right time.

  5. You should probably start taking him now. Here are some websites on that topic:

Read the best answer for the third link i think that is a great idea!!

  6. Before their third birthday.

  7. We took ours when she turned 4.  She saw him before this when she tagged along with Dad to the dentist and he would peek in there.  But at 4 was the first time she had a cleaning.

  8. proably right now because he needs to get used to it before e gets older

  9. My mom says two

you want to make sure there theeth are not decaying

  10. Start when they are 3.  The dentist will basically start out with just looking in their mouths and count their teeth.  It's to get them used to it.  They will get a new toothbrush / paste and stickers.

  11. 3

  12. You should take them once they get a few teeth, or by age 18 months at the latest (to begin getting them used to the dentist being in his mouth), and then cleanings should begin at age 2-ish.

  13. We started all three of my kids when they were two.  The dentists (for this age) usually just brush the teeth a little and check everything over.  It is also a good thing for the kids so they don't develop an anxiety about going.  Start them young and their semi-annual trips to the dentist will just be a regular thing.

  14. Three is the ideal age.

  15. my ped says as soon as they have their first tooth it is time to go to the dentist and then evey 6 months

  16. That's the age of my son and he's going to his first dentist appt in a couple of weeks.

  17. There first dental check-up should be around 2 years of age. They clean there teeth and check of course for cavities and make sure there teeth have and are coming in correctly....
