  1. You could find them homes right away! I'm sure they'd want a trained kitten anyway.

  2. 14 weeks

  3. I've had about 5 litters over the years. 6 weeks is about right. You already said the two magic things for your kittens to be on their own

    1) They're eating cat food

    2) They are using litter box.

Thats all they need to know how to do.

  4. at least 6 weeks and fully weened from the mother

  5. Like..... 8 weeks about

  6. i say 8 to 10 weeks that's what we do they need time to be with the mom and learn things like how to play without being rough and stuff like that. no rush is there?

  7. At minimum they should be 8 weeks - at 6 weeks, they aren't reliably weaned and using the box, and many of them are being set up for failure.  Even though they are eating on their own, they still have lots to learn from mom and their littermates.  They are now developing their social skills, learning how to play properly, and so on.  Many kittens who bite their humans and play too rough weren't with their littermates long enough to learn that this isn't acceptable.  Most reputable breeders keep kittens until they are 12 weeks old.  This may or may not be practical for you, but please don't rush them out the door just because everyone says that 6 weeks is old enough - it really isn't.  People are going to have these kittens for the next 15 years, surely they can wait another week or two!

  8. mine stayed with their mommy for 10 weeks..although one has special needs so I think he needed the extra 2 weeks with mom bless him

  9. six weeks or so

  10. 8-10 weeks.  Give them a chance to learn everything they need to know from momma cat.  I had a kitten who never learned to bury his poo or clean himself very well because he was given away too early in his life........

  11. exactly 7 weeks+

    answer mine??

  12. I'd say closer to eight or nine weeks. Technically they're old enough to survive without their mother, but if you wait for them to be a bit older they'll adjust to a new home more easily.

  13. 8 weeks please

    Time to spay the mom...

  14. 8 weeks is the usual age when kittens are separated from thier moms.

When my cat has kittens I give them away anywhere from 7-8 weeks. As long as thier eating dry food, drinking water from a dish, and using the litter box, they are good to go.

  15. 6 weeks is when you should rehome them, Ru in Ireland with the kittens?
