  1. 19 motnhs is always a great age to start them at.

  2. He's plenty old right now! You can start by ground work with him, manners etc. Which you should already be doing. My 2 year old is still a stallion but is a complete sweetie. Ive been basically light riding with him, just the basics, nothing to extreme yet! Walking, backing up, leg commands, rein commands, voice commands, etc. and a slight bit of trotting! He's gonna be a dream when hes bigger. But you should start out with this stuff if you havent already, perfect age to break all the bad habits and start gettin up on the little man! Hope this helps

  3. First of all if he is thoroughbred, he already a 3 year old.  So I'd get him broke and legging up ASAP.

  4. I would wait until he is at least 3 because his bones won't be strong enough to carry a rider really.
