  1. They call up single women - so 18 and up.

  2. At least 16...

  3. It don't have a age limit

  4. While there probably isn't an age limit, I would suggest having teenagers and older. It can be a little uncomfortable for everyone in the room if a seven-year-old catches the bouquet and the best man or groomsman or another older gent catches the garter! (I know they often just put the garter on the arm, but still...) Just my 2 cents.

  5. 16+

  6. I caught the bouquet at a wedding when I was 11. It was great! Even with all the scratches, bites and high heel marks on me! (women are tough!)

My 88 year old grandmother caught the one at my wedding. My ex caught the garter..he slid it up her leg and she leaned over and whispered to him.... he laughed and then she jumped and they both laughed.

I guess she told him..."its been a while honey..you can go higher if you want!"

    and-he obliged.

Later she told me "I always did like that boy!"

  7. they just have all the girls lined up and who ever caches it get it. all age are allowed as long as that are girls or you could just do the brides maids it really depends on the bride.

  8. Most weddings I've been to, the girls are at least in their teens. At some weddings, they only let women who are 18 and older in the line-up.

I wouldn't let small kids in the mix if there are any over-the-top women there. Some girls go crazy and will crush or tackle anyone to get the bouquet. You don't want kids getting hurt.

  9. Old enough to get married..

  10. At my wedding, ALL girls/women who weren't married or engaged were out on the floor ready to catch the bouquet including the little girls.  It's just a silly tradition.  My flowergirl was the one who actually caught it and she's only three!

  11. I don't know, but i would think anyone that wanted to try should get up. At my best friends wedding, everyone ran from the bouquet including me. (I'm allergic to flowers) and I'm not sure what everyone else excuse was.

  12. If you have to let go of your tri-pod cane to catch the bouquet, you are too old.  Otherwise, anyone is fair game.

  13. Old enough to wed lawfully -- and unmarried.

  14. There's no age limit, and a lot of times the youngest girls (4 or 5 years old) are encouraged to catch it because people find it so cute. I was at a wedding a couple weeks ago and all of us older women/girls decided to just step back and  let the flower girl catch it. She was absolutely beaming and it was adorable.

  15. Old enough to be able to catch something with your hands.  Maybe after 3, providing your hand-eye coordination is good.

  16. You shouldn't have to be any age. That myth about the person who catches the bouquet at the wedding is the next to get married thing isn't real. We just do it for fun. Every girl/woman should be able to participate in the wedding.
