Im just wondering how old you have to be to buy Parental Advisory Explicit Content cd's from like HMV or anywere in England thank you :)

  1. They don't enforce it, so any age.


  2. Those stickers are aimed at the American market, where it is is believed that bad language is more harmful than a loaded shotgun.

    However, in Britain we have a more enlightened approach.  We realise that shooting someone will actually do them more harm than calling them a "motherf***er".  Hence the stickers are utterly irrelevant to the U.K. market.

  4. That particular phrase is not officially used in the UK. DVDs and Videos are rated by the people who rate films. I think the cassifications are the same: U, PG, 12A, 12, 15 and 18. Anyone can buy U, PG and 12A DVDs or Videos but you need to be the 12, 15 or 18 to buy the others. As far as music is concerned, I don't think there's any statutory rating system and anyone can buy any music CD.
