  1. 18 is  normally the age to get into most night clubs in ireland

out side Dublin that is in dublin you must have a id if your under 23

  2. The legal age to drink over here is 18. 80-90% of the clubs are over 18 and the odd few are 21, but they are not that strict in the over 21 clubs. I a a bar maid over here have fun.

  3. Seems to be some confusion in the answers that some other people have given. First off, there are two countries, Northern Ireland & the republic of Ireland. The south of Ireland is not a country!!! You are most likely referring to Republic as this is what most people mean when referring to Ireland.

In Ireland: there used to be places that were over 21 & even some over 23. These were all done away with approx between 5 & 10 years ago. This was done due to it been seen as age discrimination under our law. Age discrimination, like s*x, sexual preference, racial discrimination etc is prohibited under Irish law. A person is deemed to be an adult at age 18, the same way as you cannot legally disallow a person to enter a club based on being black or g*y you cannot disallow a person from entering for not yet being 21. It’s the law in the country as it stands. An adult is an adult full stop. Now that been said, there may be some clubs out there that break the law & are discriminatory. I doubt that number is high in these sue happy times as club owners may have actions taken against them for this stance.

  4. 18 i dont no any clubs in dublin that you have to be 21!!

you have to be 18 to vote get serived drink and to get into clubs!!there are a loud of youth clubs as well that dont serive drink........ under 18s.....so lots of clubs to go to all around

  5. pretty sure its 45

  6. If alcohol is being served, then some clubs are over 18 and others are over 21. If you are younger than this then there youth clubs where no alcohol is available.

  7. Hi, I am from the uk.

It may change in Dublin as this is s.Ireland and N.Ireland is the 1 thats in the UK.It depends on the club, but dont worry we are not as strickt as the US.I think its 18,but some clubs maybe 21yrs.

I say go to N.Ireland as it is cheaper than S.Ireland and so much better.

Dublin is too expensive now since they went with the Euro.N.Ireland is part of the UK and is still in pounds. However our exchange rate with your Dollar isnt very good for you,so check the Euro to the Dollar.

I am a Flight Attendant and have been lucky to travel the world free. The place I love the most is Lake Tahoe.

If you need anymore information regarding flights accomodation in N.Ireland you may contact me whenever.

I think being American you should go to Ireland then take a low cost flight either to Scotland,Wales or London for approx $80 return with a good company called easyjet.com.

And the people are so beautiful, either s*x.

    Have a good trip.ciao.

  8. Age doesn't matter over there.  It depends on if you are taller than a leperchaun.  If you are then you can get in.

  9. You have to be 18 but there are some places that are run by *** that wont let anyone younger then 21 in

but they are easy to avoid as there isnt a lot of them and most of them are outside of Dublin

  10. 18, that's the legal drinking age, although some higher class clubs you have to be 21 to get in.  They're are some clubs that let in 16's and over (they don't sell drink)
