  1. Never too late, I started at 10, some start at 4. You are at a great age to start. Yes there will be guys racing against you that have 5 or more years of experience, but that's cool. Just have fun.

  2. the pros are way over 14 dude

  3. Its never too late to start.

If you are looking for a full time pro racing career, then you will struggle to be noticed over all the younger riders with more riding time.

    Best off luck.

Never give up, and have fun.

  4. I started when i was 8. raced 18 years. 14 years old, you may behind the ball alittle bit. You'll start in "C" class, probably 80 or 125cc class, (125cc)  hope that's the size bike you ride now. At 16, you'll have to ride in 125cc class. it's an age thing.  throw it around and have fun !! Be safe ..

  5. it is not to late for a 14 year old to start racing but it is to early to race super-cross, you have to be 16 to even qualify

  6. No that is not too late.

And depending upon what country you live in you can race supercross in Australia before you are 16, but you need to get an endorsement and only the better riders will be able to do that.  My son has been racing sx  for the last few years and he is only 15.

Just make sure you do loads of practice days first so you get better at mx before attempting to race.  Look up online where local tracks are and go along or contact the race secretary to find out what things you need to do to be allowed to race.

Purchase all the right riding gear to make it as safe as possible and if you can afford it get a leatt brace.

    Most of all enjoy
