  1. i am not sure and really does it matter. don't you think her personal family business is her own. does this really effect her being in the office no. also you try your best being a parent but its up to your child to make the right choices also. haven't you ever did something your parent didn't approve of.

  2. As far as I know she was 17 and he was 18. But I could be wrong because it's not something I'm following. It doesn't really matter to me. She's not the first teen to get pregnant in this country, and she won't be the last. What we should be looking at is the fact that she and the boyfriend have taken responsibility for their child, and that their families are standing by them as much as possible.

  3. I just wonder if the daughter is doing what she wants to do.  ARe they marrying because they want to - or because it makes all of this okay.  I was pregnant at 17 and I can tell you that is not okay.  At 17 I was hardly ready to drive, couldn't vote and hardly knew who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.  It is hypocritical of the republicans to make this okay - if the tables had been turned and the democrats had picked someone with the same situation - they would have had a heyday.  They would have pointed out everything that was morally wrong with it.  I just hope the girl is making choices of her own - rather than choices that the republicans are making for her.  I hope the father does a better job than say Jamie Lynn Spears husband is doing.  I guess at this point - anyone can be a role model - it's not a matter of being a good one.  Why don't we all just throw our hands up and admit that standards are easier to achieve if they are extremely low.  That way everyone is a winner.  Duh!

  4. Bristol Palin is 17, and she was 17 when her baby was conceived. As for the father, he has not been identified publically by the press, so I do not know who he is or much about him, other than that Bristol intends to keep their kid and marry him.

  5. 17  - I cannot grammatically figure out the second question.

o.k. the irony of Democrats/Liberals even questioning this pregnancy is laughable.  A couple thoughts.

    1. Maybe it would have helped if she'd become pregnant as a White House intern during the Clinton era?

    2. Maybe she should have made the correct "choice" of aborting the baby and not even her mom would have to know - oh wait, she still has a few months to legally abort.

  6. 1. Over the age of consent.

    2. According to what I heard on the radio, her fiance will be at the convention tonight. If you watch it, maybe you can guess his age.

  7. That is her personal life it does not effect anything about her political life. That is what is so wrong with the world today everyone is so quick to jump into someones personal life to nit pick them instead of listening to their values about their work career.

  8. shes 17 now dont know the other details

  9. why does it matter?

its her personal family business stay out of it.

how would you like it if people were constantly asking your mom about you if you got pregnant? and asking how old the father is and just constantly up in your business?

  10. I agree with the first person. Why do people feel this is any of their business? It has nothing to do with her running for VP, absolutely nothing.
