King Tutankhamen obtained the throne at the age of 9. He married his half sister Ankhensenpaaton at the age of 14. He died at the age of 18.

King Tut was the age of 11 when he married Ankhesenpaaten which was his half sister.  They are also known to have had two children, both girls, whose mummies were discovered in King Tuts  tomb - they both died as babies, and medical evidence suggests they may have been stillborn.

King Tut still rests in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings, in a temperature-controlled glass case.
