  1. my son i 4mths and if he is already being held and i say come to momma monk(short for monkie) he will lean forward but he doesnt hold arms out just yet

  2. My daughter was just past 6 months.  Greatest sight in the morning is a smiling baby with their arms open for you.

  3. My daughter just recently started doing it and she is five and a half months old.

  4. My daughter has only ever done that when she wants to come out of her crib. She's 14 months. She loves to crawl and walk around so forget picking her up let alone her holding her hands out =)

  5. My son started doing it at about 5 1/2 months

  6. My son was about  months when he began to do this. It was so cute.

  7. My daughter was about 5.5 months when she would reach for people (like if my gma or someone would hold her she would reach for me).  As reaching to be picked up I want to say she was more along the lines of 6-6.5 months old.

  8. My daughter was about six months when she started doing this. It really depends on the infant though, this form of communication can begin anywhere between 5 and 9 and sometimes even up to 12 months depending on cognitive and motor development.

  9. My daughter just started doing it now and she is 7 months. its the best feeling when they hold their arms up to you.
