My son is 6months old & i am feeling pretty confident now, at first i didn't know what i was doing but I promise, yesterday was the last time i Questioned my motherly instinct!! I ignored it but in the end I WAS RIGHT!

When did you start feeling like you know your baby better than Drs & grannies?? When did you start feeling confident in your mothering?

Thanx Mommies!

  1. Right away, some how!  I knew I was a smart capable person and that I would do the best for my son and the rest just came.  It helps I have a very easy going baby and a wonderful and supportive husband.

  2. Well my son is 17 years old and I still question myself from time to time. You learn as you go along. The longer the better, but with each age and stage comes new questions and worries.

  3. I think it was about a month after sarah was born, and everyone went back home and hubby went back to work. I was left all alone with my baby and noone was around. I didn't second guess myself, I did't panic. I just went on like I had been doing this for YEARS!! yes there are times when I get AHHHH what do I do!!!???? But that's normal. I feel very confident in my mothering skills, I am so in tune with my Daughter I absolutly love it!

  4. At first I was terrified and questioned myself on everything I was doing.  I guess I was so afraid I was going to do something wrong and hurt her.  Around 3/4 months old I remember talking to my husband and I said I felt pretty sure of myself and that its not as hard as I thought it was going to be.  I really started relaxing around that time.
